La Prairie Platinum
The Most Expensive Skin Cream Ever
|
|

Given the state of our economy and its effect on every one's wallet,
I've had to think hard about doing a post on La Prairie Cellular Cream
Platinum Rare, the exilir promising to be the panacea for anti-aging,
which debuted in September. Wrapped in a gorgeous clear resin that
looks like a jewel on display, it's made from Platinum, the rare mineral that
can fight signs of aging by maintaining your skin's electrical balance,
and formulated with a blend of Peptides, vitamins and antioxidants. They said it would significantly reduce the appearance of deep wrinkles
and lines on the skin while increasing resilience and hydration. Now
though I do not have wrinkles, but I did test a touch of La Prairie on
those pesky dry patches due to eczema and vio-la! To my surprise, my
skin received immediate relief. Can we say instant moisture
gratification anyone? Certainly if it can provide relief to the worse
kind of dry skin, it certainly can work miracles on fine lines and
wrinkles. And while it wasn't meant to be smoothed all over one's
body—especially at $1,000 per 0.17 oz. bottle—if I had an extra
thousand or two, this would be an investment worth pro-rating.
