SUPREME OIL

Posted on May 2, 2012 By Anonymous

Mizani celebrates the launch of its new Supreme Oil and our writer provides the inside deets.

When I stepped into the L’Oréal Academy for the introduction of Mizani’s Supreme Oil, which is mineral oil-, silicone- and preservative-free, I expected a lesson about its efficacy, but received a bonus lesson on language when Beth Payne, who served as the mistress of ceremonies, introduced the product to us in a variety of languages. Gracias! No matter the native tongue of audience members, all were eager to learn what this new oil could provide, how and when to use it and what hair types it works best on.

Its claim to fame? Supreme Oil penetrates hair with natural oils (avocado, apricot, olive fruit, sunflower and rice bran) so the hair stays soft, smooth and conditioned. Payne explained how it works as: a perfect heat-sealer when blowing hair dry; the ultimate finishing serum for high-beam shine; as a pre-shampoo treatment for removing debris; and a daily leave-in conditioner and moisturizer for locks, braids and natural hair. She even found a new use on the way to the event: Supreme Oil as body lotion (she left without moisturizing her skin and used the oil instead).

Regardless of how it's used, Supreme Oil is a great addition to any woman's beauty regime. $17.00 at amazon.com
