Karl Lagerfeld Designs for Macy's

Posted on May 2, 2012 By Keshia Crosby

Move over Target and watch out H&M. Iconic department store Macy's has made the ultimate high/low fashion merger that blows every other collaboration out of the water.

Karl Lagerfeld himself, the legendary designer behind Chanel and Fendi has designed a 45 piece capsule collection for the store that debuted today, showcasing Lagerfeld's love of classic silhouettes with a modern twist. “To me Macy’s is the perfect department store in the US where everybody can find what they’re looking for without ruining their budget. That’s why I am happy to make this limited collection just for Macy’s.”

The collection of dresses, separates, and jackets retails for a very affordable $50-170, allowing budget fashionistas to own a little bit of of high-style for a low price. Shop early and fast before the collection flies right off the shelf!
