Best-Dressed Met Ball 2012

Posted on May 8, 2012 By admin

Billed as the Oscars of fashion, last night's  MET Gala Costume ball honoring iconoclastic designers Elsa Schiaparelli and Miuccia Prada, allowed a cross-section of people from film to sports to play homage to the concept of unconventional dressing. Here's our take on who did it best.

To celebrate the annual opening of the Metropolitan Museum of Art's Costume Institute, this year's MET Ball celebrated an imaginary tête-à-tête between Elsa Schiaparelli (she of "think pink" moniker) and Miuccia Prada (she of dowdy-meets-bizarre chic). Not quite the splash like Tupac's hologram at Coachella, but more like Natalie Cole's Unforgettable video with her father Nat King. Here's our roundup of who looked fab and who looked really drab.
