Evelyn Secures Book & Film Deal

Posted on May 2, 2012 By admin

The "Basketball Wives" star just announced a multi-platform deal with Cash Money to create books and films.

The first of the projects is Evelyn’s book series “The Wives Association,” co-authored by novelist and former Law & Order: Criminal Intent writer, Courtney Parker.  A work of fiction, the protagonist is Eve Inez-Landon (Evelyn's alter ego), and chronicles her life as a player's wife. "The stories that you hear--what goes on in these relationships, and just being in that circle- I decided to let everyone experience a piece of it for themselves by writing this series of juicy novels," says Lozada in a press release.  "By partnering with Baby and Cash Money Content, we have the potential to turn these ‘novels’ into a full-fledged brand. Everything Baby and CMC touches turns to gold, and our brands together will be magical,” she continues.

Cash Money Content, is a publishing partnership between Cash Money Records brand and Atria Books, a division of the publishing powerhouse, Simon & Schuster.
