The will, which can be seen on Inside Edition, says: "...Interest in all my household furniture… clothing, personal effects, jewelry, and automobiles, and all insurance policies thereon… to any children of mine who survive me." As the sole heir, Bobbi Kristina's inheritance will be placed in a trust until she turns 21, when she will receive a third of her mother's estate. Afterward, she will receive another third at the age of 25, and the balance at the age of 30. Her grandmother, Cissy Houston, was name the executor of the estate. But according to Inside Edition, she renounced it and now Whitney's sister-in-law, Donna Houston has been appointed the executor. Houston's brother Michael remains as a trustee of Whitney's estate.
Kudos to Whitney for staggering the payments, which will allow time for her daughter to mature and, hopefully, understand how to make that inheritance work for her.
On Sunday, Bobbi Kristina, along with her aunt and uncle, Michael and Donna, will sit down with Oprah to discuss the untimely demise of Whitney. Cissy Houston will not participate in the discussion.
