Marvin, along with siblings CeCe and BeBe Winans, held a long bond with Whitney over the years. The funeral, which is set to occur on Saturday, February 18, 2012, will be a private one, and invitation-only. And an all-star choir is expected to send her home.

"The family has made it very clear that this is going to be a strong musical celebration of her life," says Joe Carter, pastor of New Hope Baptist Church where Whitney sang as a child. News reports say Jennifer Hudson and Kelly Price are expected to attend, but no word yet on who will be singing.
New Jersey's Governor Christie will order flags to be flown at half-staff in honor of Whitney on the day of her funeral.
