Np2 polishes nails it with two nail solutions for the price of one. Our editor takes it for a road test.
There has been so much innovation with nail polishes of late that I just get giddy with appreciation. The recently launched Np2 polishes, however, have put me over the moon. I. Kidd. You. Not. It is two nail treats—a colored basecoat (on the bottom) and chip-resistant, quick-drying top coat (on the top)—in one, stackable bottle.
I tested the polish (in Symmetric) and found a smooth, rich finish after two coats and nails that dried in less than ten minutes. Hmm. Normally it takes about 15 to 20 minutes at the salon; even longer at home. Then I tried the topcoat (which can be twisted off the bottom) on top of another polish brand. Made with a formulated hardener and nourishing treatment, the topcoat delivered on its promise and my nails were dry in the same amount of time. Genius! $22.50, available at Np2beauty.com.
